EP WEEK4 day1 (wed)

..not really time for a day's work as it is 14.40 ...but had a good hang out with jill and jane for over an hour this morning.... trying to settle down after article in today's weekly local paper. Have started going through photos taken yesterday of abandoned allotments, not really thinking how i might use them yet, just getting a feel for them by straightening, cropping and colour balancing in picassa.
 ...done all that but now what?!! ....  think i might crop some still lifes... nature morte ?? ... thought of strange still life objects just thrown together, metal, wood, plastic, baths and bottles as i was wandering around site.
...need to look through photos and decide what i want to focus on ... windows, doors, texture etc. 
Some of the lighting not so good on photos and if i crop them they will become more blurred ... does this matter?? ...i'm more interested in capturing atmosphere than being technically correct photographically....
abandonment, ephemeral, layers of time, memories, loss...........................................
Think I have a strong urge to document these feelings before land built on, so perhaps this should be one theme and perhaps a second theme could be just textures and a third could be layers, views through etc.....these themes  might come together or they might not?

 

just a selection of ideas from today .... trying to capture a sense of place.

will leave them for now and reflect on them after some time passed.... an interesting mix, but am i making finished images or starting points for new work?
could this be one of my questions
