had a lovely hangout with iain last night for over an hour as we were paired to work on appreciative enquiry... found we were discussing water photography we've both done, which have potential for abstract painting and have both shared images on fb page.
i have tried to get a bit more organised today and will use notebook as well as blog. Have written list of what i need to be doing and colour coded items as to importance/timing, completed and still to do so that i don't miss /forget things. Life is going to be quite pressured in next few weeks as project gets underway and i need to have a plan of what i need to be doing, as open studios happening in june.
.. i think clumping paperwork (written or online ) saves time and flows quicker, leaving more space for practical work. .... www.artsros.com is up and running; saatchi page up to date and new fb artsros page linked in but no content yet. I need to write an article for Jane horton to go on oca page and design an preview invite for NYOS friends .... also opportunity to exhibit in holland but work needs to be in by sunday; but why not.Thinking some of my abstract acrylic panels might be good and i will go for a coffee to local gallery the Dutch House on friday(day off), which is organising exchange of artists work.
... there seems to be too much paperwork at mo, but think i will get quicker. I also need to be realistic about what i can achieve in a given time, but i am prepared to work hard.... am going to schedule in some excercise time as well, perhaps next week ;) otherwise things will get on top of me.
Had hoped to have written up notes for tutorial on mon and iains report on appreciative enquiry, but got caught up on fb discussion about pricing and new book 'destroy the picture' has arrived and it looks super.
