saatchi.... again!!

Not sure what to make about another contact from saatchi, asking me to check out that my page is up to date, as they also want to use me soon as artist of the day.
email from kat henning on thurs pm.said
 ''Dear Rosi,
We are launching a new series this upcoming spring called "Artist of the Day" at Saatchi Art. We really like your work, and would like to include you in this series.''
So i've dutifully updated my page with more images etc and still need to send in photo of me in studio. Website also updated and business cards arrived which i'm quite pleased with as i designed them myself. All this 'stuff' takes ages to do and I will start my exploratory project on mon. Tutorial now in evening, so i've no excuse not to start first thing. I'm really nervous about starting this as i might make a complete mess ... in fact i'm sure i will at first, so it's all part of the process.
Been thinking and researching about resin ... i seem to be attracted to shiny/ matt surfaces at moment. I like my work on acrylic panels, so wondering if there's a diy version.
Yesterday was day off, but i ended up following up request from Dutch house (local gallery/cafe) for work on sunday to go into gallery in holland. Emailed, then we called in to see them but too busy to speak to me. I started the day by photographing, checking labels and wrapping 7 pieces of work and putting in car. We didn't stay for a coffee as not prepared to just leave work, so didn't even get it out of car; they said they were only interested if i had a full exhibition's worth but not at all clear on what they meant. Don't think i'm prepared to get involved with something so unprofessional ... and they would keep 50% commission! Also think my art was probably too expensive/ in a different niche market.... so i wasn't too bothered. We went of to Nunnington Hall (NT) and i got contact details of person who is in charge of exhibitions to see how they organize things there ... all felt a little run down, fresh flowers wilting etc.... need to think why and where i want my work. Read some of new book, 'destroy the pictures' in afternoon but I can feel today as i read a bit more and researched Heinz Mack and 'Zero', that i haven't had a break from thinking about art. I suppose i'm trying to pack in research before i give it up for project.
